Thanks to your support, we have invested in more new, state-of-the-art medical testing equipment, including a Heart Stress Test Treadmill.
I’ve recently completed advanced training in cardio/heart diagnostic exercise testing with the Texas Academy of Family Physicians as part of our investment in a new, state-of-the-art Heart Stress Test Treadmill testing system here at the office. It’s all part of our plan to provide you access to the newest, most sophisticated medical technology. Next time you come in, I’ll want to show you how it works. And if you have concerns about heart symptoms – or if you want to lead a healthier lifestyle – call us at (713) 529-9224 for a convenient appointment. We can establish a baseline for your heart performance in the privacy of our office.
Why Stress Testing?
Heart Stress Tests provide a good picture of your heart health.
Stress testing treadmills are an important tool for diagnosing heart health. As you walk the treadmill, it will slowly increase the angle incline, requiring increased effort on your part. The information that is recorded by the machine can help us diagnose any potential issues.
How does Stress Testing Work?
As you walk the treadmill, sensors produce an electrocardiogram readout of your heart function.
In the privacy of our office you can walk on the stress testing treadmill at increasing effort levels while the new state-of-the-art electrocardiogram (ECG) helps us monitor your heart’s response to stress.
